The Blue Danube...Summer in Budapest

Enjoying the sun in Budapest.  A walkable city and so Bruce spent time going round the castle and the bridges. 

The night scenery was memorable too!

Sunbathing in Goree Island, Dakar, Senegal

Bruce was in the city of Dakar, Senegal.  French was spoken here, and he had to get by with his limited French.  Photos were taken at Goree Island.

The buildings were colonial style.  On that particular day, there were families and groups gathering around the beach area swimming and having picnic.

Bonjour Paris!

A beautiful summer day.  Bruce had a quick stopover in Paris and he squeeze in a visit to ....Arc de Triomphe

and the Eiffel Tower.


He would return to this lovely city again!

HOT! in Muscat, Oman

Even though Bruce comes from a tropical country, he still finds the weather hot in May. 

But he still trek round the city...the clock tower...

And loitering around the Al Alam Royal Palace

The city is a good place to stroll in the later afternoons..



Ancient City Persepolis, Iran

The last major stop in Iran.  Weather was hot but Bruce enjoyed the ruins.

And Bruce sort of came to the end of his visit to Iran.  Till next time.....

Isfahan/Esfahan (Iran): Half of the World

Travellers say that Esfahan would be the highlight of Iran and Bruce agrees.  Beautiful sights, interesting people....

Kashan is about 2 hours ride from Tehran.   Bruce likes Tabatabei Historical House: beautiful. 

Bruce was met with curious looks and had many taking photos with him. He of course had a chance to pose with a sweet Iranian girl at Fin Garden.

After some effort, Bruce stepped into Tehran, Iran.  He was under the weather but the warmth of the people made up for the little setback. 

One of the places he visited was the Holy Shrine of Imran Khomeni.

And the Golestan Palace was marvellous.

The journey begins.. to Thailand

After crossing the bridge to Thailand, Bruce stomped to Nong Khai.  The aim was to visit the Buddha Park.  It has a similar one in Vientiane.

And Bruce met one of his kind..

The journey to Bangkok was pretty long, but he still made it safely.   Posing in front of the National Palace.
